As we navigate the confusion of the world and our personal lives and anticipate dramatic changes that could not manifest during the retrograde periods of late 2025, the Universe is preparing to explode with completely new ways of thinking, living, conducting business, and organizing our daily routines. The retrograde movements of the past months—Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, Uranus in Taurus—forced us to relive the heavy energy of the final degrees of a Water sign and the fixed, immovable energy of Taurus clashing with the fast, electric energy of Uranus.

We know that hidden forces of change are working behind the scenes. Our personal lives are slowly being rearranged, and states are negotiating the reorganization of lands and laws. Yet there is no resolution or finality—neither in our personal lives nor in worldly affairs.

All of this will shift in 2026.

Saturn and Neptune have already turned direct, and Uranus will follow at the beginning of February. After Neptune returns to Aries at the end of January, February brings Saturn’s ingress into Aries, culminating in the highly anticipated Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries on February 20. Starting in February, life on Earth will begin to change rapidly and dramatically. A new pace of living will take hold, solidifying on April 25 with the final ingress of Uranus into Gemini.

By spring, everything will be on fire, moving swiftly in new directions. Anything that has been dragging or unresolved in our personal universe or on Earth will suddenly change—likely explosively—and there will be no turning back to the way things were.

Although these changes may be difficult, unwanted, or unexpected, the resulting energetic state will feel lighter, more mobile, and less permanent. It will be easier to find direction in life and, more importantly, to act decisively. All outer planets will reside in masculine signs, with Saturn and Neptune traveling through Aries—a fast-acting cardinal sign.

In the past few years, slow-moving planets have resided in feminine Water and Earth signs. Conversations have centered on women: sexual abuse, women’s rights in sports, privacy, and more. Even fashion reflected this energy, favoring feminine looks with slip dresses, lace, maxi skirts, flowy dresses, cinched waists, form-fitting tops, balletcore elements, soft color palettes, and romantic bohemian styles.

In 2026, the focus will shift to masculine energy and traits such as decisiveness, speed of action, responsibility, and control. Those, who embody these qualities, will fare best. With slow-moving planets in masculine signs—Neptune and Saturn in Aries, Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius, and later Jupiter in Leo—most of the year will emphasize masculine energy. Feminine energy will appear only briefly when fast-moving planets pass through feminine signs.

Health and Lifestyle Implications

The transits of heavy planets through new signs will bring attention to certain parts of the body and demand adjustments to our routines. An active lifestyle will either be welcomed voluntarily or imposed by emerging physical challenges.

  • Fire signs (Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter): emphasize exercise, metabolism regulation, muscle mass maintenance, and nutrition.

  • Air signs (Uranus, Pluto): highlight fresh air, breathing exercises, and lung health.

Several years ago, transiting Saturn in Aquarius (ruler of bones) hovered near my daughter’s Ascendant, while Mars opposed her Sun in the first house of health. She had a bad fall and broke three bones in her lower leg. Picking her up after an eight-hour surgery, I noticed many people waiting for their ride home with casts on their lower legs—Saturn in Aquarius and Mars opposition indeed.

With Aries highlighted by Saturn and Neptune, it’s crucial to care for your head, everything in and on your head, and your adrenal health. Adrenal fatigue manifests as extreme tiredness, difficulty waking, brain fog, low motivation, and stress intolerance. Cravings for sweets or salt may appear. Adaptogens (Ashwagandha, Rhodiola), B-complex vitamins, and minerals (magnesium, zinc) may support adrenal function, but good sleep, stress management, and clean nutrition are essential.

Slow planets in Air signs (Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius) signal caution regarding airborne infections (flu, COVID-19, RSV) and underscore the importance of lung health, clean air, and breathing exercises. Immune support will remain essential, as completely avoiding airborne pathogens is impossible.

Astrology and Medicine

As Uranus moved through Taurus, new classes of drugs emerged to treat diabetes and regulate metabolism (Taurus rules diabetes and metabolism). With Uranus now in Gemini, innovations may appear in drugs controlling asthma, lung diseases, sleep apnea, and other breathing-related conditions. Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius will also revolutionize how we exchange information, travel, trade, and communicate.
