LIVE IN SYNC WITH THE MOON
Week of November 25th:
On Monday, the Moon enters the sign of Libra early in the morning as Mercury is stationing to go backward in the Zodiac in its retrograde movement late in the evening. It’s that time of the year – the time to double check every document we sign, to avoid non-urgent non-emergency medical procedures – Mercury represents the hands of anyone, who would touch you, in addition to a judgment, thought, and knowledge. (This advice is only for educational and entertainment purposes and does not contain any medical recommendations. For all your health needs please contact you medical professional providers.) This time, Mercury is doubly impaired – not only in retrograde motion but also “in exile” in Sagittarius, the sign opposite to its home sign of Gemini. However, this is not a call to stop all our activities. Revisiting old projects, repairing old mistakes, relaxing, re-thinking, planning for the future are still acceptable activities to focus on. With Pluto firmly in Aquarius now, think about any new development in your life the last week and look back into late March – mid June of 2023 and late January – August 2024 when Pluto dove into Aquarius temporarily. What has changed for you during these weeks and months? What new directions in life have opened? News of the last week and of those previous times when Pluto was on early Aquarius may give you a glimpse into the next 20 years of your life... Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning may bring out relationship decisions, but, with a connection between a well-placed Venus in responsible Capricorn and the Moon joining the lucky fixed star Spica, any issues will be quickly resolved to everyone’s satisfaction. Finish as many of your preparations for Thanksgiving on Tuesday – Wednesday will not be productive.
The Moon moves into Scorpio on Wednesday evening, where it will remain until early Saturday morning. This is not the best sign for the Moon – she gets too emotional and too dark in Scorpio. With the “Foot in Mouth”-provoking retrograde Mercury in Sagittarius opposing Jupiter and sensitive Moon in Scorpio on Thanksgiving, when many families celebrate together at a dinner table, it’s almost guaranteed that feeling will be hurt, dramas will arise, and old disagreements will be reignited. Knowing the astrology of the day, stay away from heated discussions and try to keep your unpopular opinions to yourself, especially as the Moon opposes volatile Uranus on Friday.
If you do get into a trouble during the Moon in Scorpio, there is a chance to repair the situation on Saturday – the Moon moves into Sagittarius early in the morning, and everything is brighter and happier with a Sag Moon! In the morning, the Moon is in harmonious aspects with Neptune (the planet of illusion, delusion, and acceptance) and with playful Mars in Leo. It’s a great time to turn any confrontation into innocent misunderstanding, reach an agreement, even if a shallow and not a genuine one. Saturday is a good day for making future plans under a Balsamic Moon in Sagittarius. We have a New Moon at 1:21 AM EST on Sunday, and we have not had such an optimistic and happy lunation for a while. The New Moon occurs right on the ambitious and courageous fixed star Antares, the star of warriors and masters, and it is opposite of the “great benefic”, Jupiter! This is the time to look with optimism and resolve into the future and to dream big!
