Live in sync with the Moon: week of October 7

adoastrology

On Sunday October 6th, the Moon in Scorpio runs into a connection with Uranus, a planet of change, sudden developments, breakthroughs and breakups. It’s time to make a choice, even if it’s a short-lived influence and a small, not a life-defining choice. The change and decision to accept the change will be facilitated by a connection between the Moon and the planet of transformation Pluto, right before the Moon moves into Sagittarius. Sunday evening will feel more straightforward, energetic, and optimistic.

The Moon will spend two full days, Monday October 7th and Tuesday October 8th in Sagittarius. We may feel restricted and craving freedom on Monday, while the Moon is closing on an uneasy connection with the planet of limitations Saturn. However, on Tuesday nothing dampens our optimism and freedom to choose the activities of the day. This will be a perfect time to start a new class, to enroll into a new learning program, to plan a trip, or to get on the road to start one. Whatever we do on this day, we may be tired by the evening, and going to sleep early may feel good and restoring.

On Wednesday, we wake up with a serious Moon in Capricorn, where it will remain until Friday afternoon or until late morning if you are on the west coast of U.S. While Wednesday is still the time to make plans for this lunar cycle, finish your list  by Thursday afternoon – this is the time of the First Quarter Moon, the call to get to actions. The Moon is in tug of war with Mars, the planet of action and frustration that is in uncomfortable position in Cancer and struggling to work through feelings and to follow  the rules. Acting and reacting appropriately may require all the seriousness and all the resolve we have. There is a danger of saying something we may regret later. Think twice and consider the other side of the conversation before speaking. With that passive aggressive Mars in a silent sign of Cancer connecting with the Moon and with the planet of words Mercury, it may be better to remain silent. As the Moon is about to exit Capricorn, she will conjoin Pluto. It’s up to you, but the choice would have to be carefully considered: are you ready to take control or are you in a power game that you need to abandon?

Friday afternoon and most of the weekend are the breath of a fresh air, with the Moon going unrestricted through the sign of Aquarius. It’s a great time to get some fresh air, to go out, to socialize and to connect with the friends. Cool and detached Aquarius does not get too emotional, frustrated, or aggressive. Even the uneasy and challenging connection of the Moon with the planet of relationship Venus should go unnoticed, unless you are not asleep in the night hours between Saturday and Sunday. However, even if you are awake and run into a short-lived relationship hiccup, it should be easily and peacefully resolved before the dawn. Overall, the weekend should be social, pleasant, and calm, ending in relaxing Sunday evening.

Sunday late afternoon and evening are the times to stop doing anything and completely relax, may be even go to bed earlier than usual. It could be a great movie night too. The Sunday night leads into a lazy Monday. If you don’t want to completely waste the day due to a lack of energy and motivation, choose to focus on creative projects that don’t require much physical or intellectual effort.
