We are entering one of the most astrologically impactful week of the year. The Eclipse season happens twice a year and brings several eclipses into our lives each year. Eclipses are by far the most important celestial events used in predictive astrology, whether in the individual forecasts or in the mundane predictions. This week, we will experience a Solar Eclipse, the last of two eclipses in Fall 2024. It will be visible in the southern part of South America, but everyone everywhere in the world, whose natal horoscope will be triggered by the eclipse, will experience its effects. For those, who understands the language of astrology, the eclipse will be at 10 degrees Libra. If you have any planets or angles around 10 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn, and Cancer, you will most probably feel the effects of this eclipse. Solar eclipses bring about external events that we don’t control, reveal secrets, and uncover the truth. This particular eclipse is associated with a loss of relationships, with uncovering injustices, imbalances, and discovering another’s point of view. It also may affect out physical health, and injuries are possible, so portect yourself by not overexerting, not overdoing, and by staying away from anything physically risky or challenging.

The week starts with the Moon in Virgo – a perfect time to organize and get to work and responsibilities. If a meeting is scheduled for Monday or Tuesday, it will most probably go in a very professional, organized way, with everyone showing up on time and well prepared. If Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday are the days off for you, use them to clean and organize your home or to plan future projects.
Â

On Tuesday in the evening, the Moon moves to Libra, and we have our New Moon, which is also the annular Solar Eclipse on Wednesday October 2nd. The eclipse day is not the best day to have strenuous physical activities, start important conversations, or initiate any new projects. If it affects you, you probably will be pushed in a new direction without any additional efforts on your part. An eclipse can happen close to the South Lunar Node or close to the North Lunar Node. This time it’s only 4 degrees away from the South Node, the place in a chart where we release our energy. It may be physically draining for those, whose natal planets are triggered. The effects of the eclipse may not be immediate, or the significance of the events around the eclipse may not be understood as important right away. For ideas whether and how this eclipse may affect you, go back to the end of September 2006 – similar events may occur in a different area of your life. Also, look back to beginning of October of 2005 – where did you have changes in your life (if any?). The same area of life may be affected this time, but in a different way, with different events occurring in the same area of life. Libra New Moon brings attention to life balance, fairness, relationships, and the beauty around us.

Finally, in the morning of Friday, the Moon moves into Scorpio, the sign of the Moon fall that is uncomfortable for the Moon. That’s when our insecurities and perceived lack of stability come out, and we may become moody and dissatisfied with people and events. That’s the time when our psychic powers are very strong, and we see through other people, detecting the good and the bad without effort. It’s also the Moon that may make is obsessing about one particular topic, doing research to uncover the truth, and digging deep to understand the implications of events in our lives. We may not be inclined to talk about our inner life and turmoil during these couple of days. I
t may not be my first choice of the Zodiac sign for the weekend Moon, but it can be used to retreat, dig deeply into our inner world, and to make an effort to identify and sort out deep emotions that often come to the front plane during the Moon in Scorpio.
